Corrections

A lot of what we publish is generated from live data feeds, which means errors reach the site faster than a person can catch them. If you find one, tell us — this page explains exactly how.

Report an error

Email editorial@m.city with “Correction” in the subject line. This inbox is monitored on working days.

Please include what you can:

  • The page URL
  • What is wrong, quoted from the page
  • What it should say
  • A source we can check, if you have one

A URL and one sentence is enough to open a report. Do not let a missing source stop you from sending it.

What happens next

  1. Acknowledgement within 2 working days. You get a reply confirming we received the report, even if we have not finished checking it.
  2. Verification. We check the claim against the source feed and any independent source we can reach. If we cannot verify either way, we say so rather than guessing.
  3. Resolution within 10 working days for a confirmed factual error. Clearly damaging errors — a wrong address, price or safety detail — are corrected the same day they are confirmed.
  4. Reply. We tell you what we changed, or why we did not change it.

How we mark corrections

  • Factual corrections to editorial articles carry a dated note at the foot of the article saying what changed. We do not quietly edit a published claim.
  • Data feed errors — a wrong opening time, price or venue coming from Skiddle, Viator or a listing — are fixed at the source mapping and are not individually annotated, since the underlying record is replaced on the next refresh.
  • Typos and broken links are fixed without a note.
  • Withdrawn content. If a page turns out to be wrong beyond repair, we remove it and return a redirect rather than leaving an empty URL in place.

What this page does not cover

  • Booking, payment or refund problems are handled by the platform you booked with (Skiddle, Viator, the hotel). We are not the merchant and cannot access your booking — see our Affiliate Disclosure.
  • Venue ownerswanting a listing updated, added or removed should write to the same address with “Listing” in the subject line.
  • General enquiries and partnerships go through our Contact page.

How we rank and select what gets published is documented on our Methodology page. Where the underlying data comes from is on Data Sources.
