m.city maintains full editorial independence. Commercial relationships with partners, affiliates or advertisers do not influence our editorial content. Paid placements are clearly labelled. Our recommendations are based on quality, relevance and usefulness — not on who pays us.

How We Create Content

Our content falls into three categories:

• Original writing — editorial pieces, guides and analysis written by our team of Manchester-based writers and editors with direct local knowledge.
• Curated listings — event, restaurant, hotel and tour data sourced from trusted partners (Skiddle, Viator) and enriched with our own editorial layer. See our Data Sources page for technical details.
• Structured entity content — factual pages about venues, stadiums, neighbourhoods and people, built from verified public sources and updated regularly.

Accuracy & Verification

We strive to ensure all information is accurate at the time of publication. Event dates, prices and venue details are sourced directly from operators. We recommend verifying details directly with the organiser or venue before attending or booking.

Corrections Policy

We correct factual errors promptly. If you identify an error, please contact editorial@m.city. We will review and, where warranted, publish a correction on the relevant page.
