Shortly after the passing of former NYC Mayor Ed Koch the Peking Duck House was mentioned in both the New York Times and the New York Daily News as one of his favorite places to eat during his weekly luncheon gatherings. In fact, when the friends of Mayor Koch decided to gather the day after his death in his memory the Peking Duck House was where they met.
